B&M Stores Bargains For 70 New Retail Jobs In Doncaster

B&M Stores, the popular discount retail chain, has created 70 new full and part time jobs in Doncaster with a new outlet set to open next month.

The new retail jobs which B&M are to create in the Yorkshire town, will come at what will be the retailer’s third store in Doncaster. The existing Doncaster branches of B&M at Thorne Retail Park and Danum Retail Park currently support similar numbers of full and part time jobs for the area, but the new positions will be welcome for the area.

The new B&M in Church View, Doncaster will open its doors to the public on 6th August and will add to the company’s growing portfolio of stores, which currently stands at around 450 branches. The retailer started out with just one outlet in Blackpool in the 1970s, but has grown massively in recent years as a budget supplier.

Store Manager for Doncaster’s new Friars Gate branch of B&M, Sue Harriman, said: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area and I am delighted we’ve found a great team from in and around Doncaster. We’re really proud to be creating another 70 jobs this year and continuing to play our part in the local community.”

B&M employ over 20,000 members of staff in full and part time roles, helping them to serve more than 2 million customers every year.

If you fancy learning the ropes with some part time work in Yorkshire, then retail jobs are one of the most varied and interesting forms of occupation you can find. You’ll need to be pretty outgoing and have a great belief in customer service to get ahead in the sector, but it’s a brilliant way to find flexible hours as a student - and the sky is pretty much the limit.
