Hundreds Of Seasonal Theme Park Jobs Up For Grabs...

It looks like being a bumper season for theme park jobs in 2015, with big names advertising hundreds of full and part time vacancies across various roles. And some of the bigger theme parks like Alton Towers and THORPE PARK have already started recruitment drives for temporary staff to work in a number of different roles from early spring next year.

Alton Towers has announced that it is looking for 1,300 full and part time staff for 2015 - and there are reports that over 2,000 people have already registered an interest in the theme park jobs at the major Staffordshire attraction.

Kerry Alcock, recruitment manager for Alton Towers Resort, gave some details about the jobs on offer in 2015 and provided some clues about the sort of applicants they are looking for:

“The roles continue to encompass the key commercial departments of food and beverage and retail, as well as ride operations and hosts for many different areas, including admissions, guest services and ride stations. As always, we are looking for outgoing people with great communication skills, as cultural compatibility is more important to us than qualifications.”

Ms Alcock was also keen to point out the flexible hours for many roles at Alton Towers, saying: “All our fixed-term contracts continue to offer flexible working patterns, full or part time to suit home-life commitments and an excellent starting salary.”

Surrey’s THORPE PARK has also started hiring for the 2015 theme park season - and they are recruiting for some roles through the employment4students website right now. You can apply direct for full and part-time, short and long-term work at the resort - and these roles are perfect for students in the Chertsey area of Surrey.
