Graduate Of The Year 2014 Launched By Adzuna

The search is underway yet again to crown a “Graduate of the Year” from the best of the UK’s talent.

The competition, run by search engine firm Adzuna, features prizes such as work experience with a leading UK business (including names like eBay, L’Oreal, Sony & Google), a one-to-one CV session with a top British entrepreneur and £1,000 in cash.

The Graduate of the Year 2014 competition is open to all graduates from the UK, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Brazil, Canada, Australia & South Africa.

Categories in which graduates can enter themselves include everything from academics, creative arts specialists and travellers to social contributors, student politicians, sports people and entrepreneurs. Interested entrants will simply need to answer a series of quick questions about themselves to help Adzuna draw up a shortlist of finalists for the award.

Last year’s Graduate of the Year competition was organised by Adzuna in partnership with graduate jobsite Milkround and was won by 24 year old Caleb Meakins, a Civil Engineering graduate from Loughborough University.

Speaking after awarding the prize to Mr Meakins last year, Milkround said:

“We were blown away by the talent this year and the whole initiative has been a real testament to the hard-work from all the finalists. Caleb’s entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm really shone out. I have no doubt this is the first of many achievements for him and he’ll continue to inspire the next generation of graduates.”

The closing date for entries this year is August 22, so you’ll need to get organised pretty quickly to be in with a chance of winning the prestige and prizes. Finalists will be notified by email or a private message before September 1.
