US car rental giant Hertz is recruiting right now for summer holiday positions through the E4S student jobs website. Vacancies are available at four major hubs in North England and Scotland as Hertz step up a recruitment drive for talent to help them on a temporary basis over their busiest periods.

Students and other young people living in Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Inverness and looking for flexible work should take a look at what is on offer at Hertz and apply for vacancies through employment4students as soon as possible.

Hertz has temporary summer jobs available at each of the cities’ airports, and the roles on offer include customer service representatives and instant return representatives.

Applicants for the customer service representative positions will need to have some form of relevant previous experience. They should also have strong sales skills since maximizing revenues on core Hertz products such as Personal Accident Insurance is important to success in the role.

Instant Return Representatives (at the time of writing, only required at Edinburgh Airport) also need strong customer service skills to deal with the public as they return vehicles to Hertz. In these temporary summer jobs you will also be responsible for checking that the vehicle is returned in an undamaged state before invoicing the customer.
