Baskin-Robbins To Create 400 New Jobs In The UK

Baskin-Robbins To Create 400 New Jobs In The UK Baskin-Robbins, the ice cream giant from the United States, will create up to 400 new full and part time jobs in the UK as it carries out a massive expansion plan which will see its outlets over here almost double in number.

Baskin-Robbins boasts the largest chain of ice cream parlour speciality shops in the world. It has close to 7,000 shops in almost 50 countries, but currently trades from less than 100 outlets in the United Kingdom.

Over the next three years, the company will expand and set up a further 80 outlets in the UK, creating hundreds of full and part time job opportunities in the process.

Nigel Travis, Chief Executive Officer of Baskin-Robbins’ parent company, Dunkin’ Brands, was excited about the firm’s expansion plans saying that the new restaurants would bring their ice cream, confectionary and drinks products to even more people.

“This is also great news for the British business community. Baskin-Robbins’ further growth in the UK provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop a franchise business. It also means hundreds of new jobs, which we are particularly pleased to be supporting,” said Mr Travis.

The Baskin-Robbins name has been around for almost 70 years and has dreamed up more than 1,000 temptingly-sweet ice creams flavours including Strawberry Lemonade, Blonde Bombshell and the Lunar Cheesecake.
