300 Full & Part Time Norfolk Jobs At New Sainsbury’s A new 12 acre £40 million Sainsbury’s at King’s Lynn is set to create up to 300 full and part time Norfolk jobs and will go some way towards securing 200 other jobs in the area.

Preliminary work has already begun at the Norfolk site and work is due to start on the actual building of the superstore by construction firm Longcross in the very near future.

The new Sainsbury’s superstore will include a restaurant, delicatessen and bakery at the completed development which is due to open before the end of 2012.

Project manager for Sainsbury’s, Jim Woolcott was excited about getting the new project in Norfolk underway: “It’s great to be able to start work on our new store, which will offer our customers a much wider choice of products. The preliminary works have begun and we’re keen to get started on the main works in the coming few weeks.”

“We look forward to working with our neighbours and the local community throughout the construction phase with the aim of opening the doors before the end of the year,” added Mr Woolcott.
