A new Za Za Bazaar restaurant at the Riverside Centre could create 120 full or part time jobs in Norwich before next summer.

The 25,000 square foot restaurant will be equipped to cope with 600 people at any one time and the fledgling Za Za Bazaar company will begin looking for staff to fill their jobs at the beginning of 2012.

Za Za Bazaar serve a range of international cuisines including Japanese, Indian, Chinese and South American favourites.

Marketing manager for Za Za Bazaar, Simon Howlett, said that after a very successful launch of their first restaurant in Bristol they were excited to be opening a second outlet in Norwich.

“We are now bringing Za Za Bazaar to Norwich. Local people will be able to enjoy the energy, originality and sheer fun of the Za Za experience for themselves. Thirty specialist chefs will run our Norwich restaurant, creating authentic dishes from around the world with something for everyone to enjoy,” said Mr Howlett.

Explaining some of the reasoning behind choosing Norwich for a new Za Za Bazaar restaurant, international chef Nitin Bhatnagar picked out the fact that the vibrant city was home to a large number of students, young people and families.
