BT Dials Up 300 New West Bromwich Jobs British Telecoms are set to create 300 new full or part time jobs in West Bromwich as the communications company seeks to boost its customer service provision.

Based at the company’s Sandwell offices, the new jobs will be on a permanent basis and will take the number of new jobs created by BT at West Bromwich over the 450 jobs they promised as part of a partnership with the local council.

Chief Executive at BT, Ian Livingston, spoke about the new jobs that his company would be bringing to the area:

“We’re delighted to be offering new employment opportunities to people in West Bromwich and Sandwell. We all know how difficult the job market is, so the fact BT is bringing more than 300 further roles to the area is great news and is a reflection of the efforts and cooperation of both the CWU and Sandwell council,” said Mr Livingston.

Jan Britton, Chief Executive of the local council, fully agreed with Mr Livingston and said that the partnership between the council and the company was making a substantial contribution to jobs in Sandwell and West Bromwich.
