Bourne Leisure, one of the UK’s biggest holiday companies, is now looking to fill 500 holiday jobs for the 2012 season at its Butlins and Haven Holiday Parks.
The company is looking for 500 young people to entertain their guests as Redcoats and Fun Stars. Auditions will be held at various locations from the middle of November.
Former Redcoat turned Entertainments Experience Manager, Jamie Thomson, is in charge of the Recruitment Roadshow which will begin the selection process.
Speaking about how it possible to use holiday jobs as a stepping stone to a much more long term job proposition, Mr Thomson said: “It’s not just about a fun seasonable job – we’re hoping to find people who show real commitment and will use this as their first step towards a career in entertainment.”
To be eligible for these holiday jobs, you must be at least 18 years old in January 2012. Perks of working for Bourne Leisure include the use of on site facilities, performance incentives and discounted holidays. They are regularly singled out as one of the best big companies to work for by The Sunday Times.
Bourne Leisure manages 35 Haven Holiday Parks at locations all around the UK. They also run 3 coastal Butlins which serve up entertainment to over a million holidaymakers every year.
