The Lloyds Banking Group is now recruiting for their summer 2012 internships through the E4S website. (You can apply for them right now using the links at the bottom of this article).
A number of internship opportunities are available depending on what sort of career path you are most interested in.
As well as the Finance internship that you would expect, Lloyds also offer summer placements in Corporate Markets, Business Technology, General Management and Human Resources.
All of the internships last for a period of 10 weeks and offer pro-rata pay of at least £18,000 for the duration of the placement. If the internship is based in London then there will also be an extra allowance during the placement.
These Lloyds summer internships are an unrivalled way to gain high quality work experience in the banking industry from one of the main players in the financial sector.
And, there is a fantastic chance that a place on one of these summer internships will lead to a more permanent graduate finance job with Lloyds Banking Group when you leave university.
The great news is that you can apply for all of these Lloyds internships via the E4S website. If you are in your penultimate year at university and have an expected 2:1 or First degree then Lloyds would love to hear from you. Depending on which of the internships you are interested in, you will also need to meet a minimum UCAS point level of between 260 and 320.
