Daisy Group, the communications company, is expanding its offices in Nelson and will create 100 full or part time North West jobs in the process.

The Daisy Group supplies voice, data and mobile communication solutions to businesses across the UK. They have grown to a customer base of over 70,000 clients and are still expanding.

A recruitment day for the new jobs will be held in the middle of next month on 14th July at the Lindred Road Business Park offices in Nelson. All of the new positions are expected to be filled within the next six months and there will be space for even more staff once the office expansion is complete.

Gareth Kirkwood, Chief operating officer at Daisy Group explained the reasons behind the office upgrade in Nelson: “One of the many reasons for expanding our Nelson base is to make room for the employees we have gained through acquisitions. However, the extra space in the new building will also mean there will be a particular focus on recruiting more staff to see us through this period of extreme growth.”

Across the UK, Daisy Group employ over 1,000 staff in roles such as admin, finance, IT, customer services and sales. They have offices in 13 different towns and cities in England and also have bases in Scotland and Wales.
