Sky Creates 50 New Scottish Posts Including Six Graduate Finance Jobs Sky, the satellite broadcasting company, is to bring 50 new finance jobs to Scotland at its Livingstone facility near Edinburgh. 6 of the new roles on offer will be graduate finance jobs in Scotland.

Sky already employs around 40 graduates in finance roles around the UK and the new recruits in Scotland will study towards the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification while they work with Sky. The scheme will become Sky’s inaugural finance program for graduates in Scotland.

Overall, the Sky group provide jobs to over 16 thousand staff in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Over a third of those employees are based in Scotland.

Director of operational finance at Sky, Denise Allan, gave a brief indication of the sort of candidate they will be looking for to fill these graduate finance jobs: “We are looking for driven and talented individuals to fill these roles - people who will help the finance team work even better on behalf of the business.”

Sky say they are seeking applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines for the 50 new jobs in Livingstone. The positions on offer will consist of a mix of finance analysts and financial controllers.

The new graduate and other financial recruits will be based at Sky’s Watermark building, located at Alba Campus.
