Vodafone UK will have 50 graduate jobs available for 2011 as part of its annual graduate recruitment programme. The starting salary on offer with the mobile network company is £25,000.
Applications are now open for the 50 graduate jobs at Vodafone and interested candidates will undergo a 5 stage recruitment process. After registering with Vodafone, applicants will be whittled down by a selection process consisting of and online questionnaire, online test and a telephone interview. Candidates who make it through those stages will be invited to an Experience Day in the second and third weeks of March 2011.
Applications will close at the end of January 2011 and the new graduate job recruits will begin their careers at Vodafone next September.
Vodafone UK’s Graduate Manager, Nic Fitzgerald, said of last years graduate job recruitment scheme: “Our 2010 programme attracted more than 3,000 graduates to apply. The kind of people we are looking for are smart, self starters who want to make a difference for our customers and will love our fast moving environment.”
Vodafone are looking for graduates with at least a 2:1 in any discipline and want people who can thrive in a busy environment. The candidates who succeed in landing one of the 50 graduate jobs will work in a Vodafone store for the first two months of the programme. Following that they will then move on to work in different teams to see which one of more than 700 roles will best suit both the graduate and the employer.
