LV=, the insurance and investment group, are to create 300 new finance jobs in Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Bristol, Hitchin and London.

Liverpool Victoria have been in business since 1843 but have traded under the LV= brand since 2007. They look after over £9 billion’s worth of clients’ money and sell a very wide range of insurance products such as pension, travel and pension cover. They are now the biggest friendly society in the UK.

The new insurance and finance jobs from LV= will consist of new vacancies in claims, customer services, sales and technical management jobs at various offices across the UK.

Speaking about the new finance jobs in Bournemouth and elsewhere in the UK, David Smith, director of Human Resources at the company, said LV= was experiencing a period of significant development and that now was a perfect opportunity to join their group.

Smith said: “Our general insurance operation is a particular hotspot for growth and we are looking for people both with experience in this field but also for individuals who are looking to move into this sector from other careers. When many other financial companies are making cut-backs we are actually expanding so this not only means that there is the opportunity to join us but also lots of great career prospects."
