Apart from being one of the best balance transfer cards and one of the best cards for purchasing?! Natwest are already offering something that can compete with the best players in the market, and the waiver of the 2% balance transfer fee makes it even more attractive.
Unfortunately the 0 interest on balance transfers and purchases is not available on Student Credit Cards, but the fact that they are offering this as an option is better than any other provider.
As one of the only dedicated student credit cards, your eligibility status and income are something that you don't have to worry about. All other credit card providers take into account how much you are earning and your ability to repay any outstanding amounts. With Natwest, by taking into account your student status, your earnings are much less important.
The one great thing that Natwest does provide is the ability to transfer money from your credit card account to a normal bank account. This is a pretty good feature if you have a credit card just for emergencies and focus on your current account. If your current account is in danger of becoming overdrawn or has insufficient funds for an impending payment then a transfer from a credit card (where it is treated as a normal transaction) is ideal.
