The last couple of weeks have seen all of the major players in the mobile phone world releasing information of some sort or another on their pricing plans for the iPhone 4. But there is still work to do sorting through the maze of price tariff that will suit different users’ particular needs. Details of the iPhone 4 itself were release a couple of weeks back and it does seem to be quite an impressive handset. It’s slimmer, trimmer and more stylish than its ancestors and the touchscreen has been improved on both resolution and contrast. You will be able to get yourself a piece of the iPhone when it hits the stores on 24th June. With Orange you will be able to get the iPhone 4 16GB for free – but that’s going to set you back £75 a month for 2 years. If you don’t mind shelling out for the handset then £169 will get you the 16GB version at just £30 a month for the same length of contract. If it simply just HAS to be the 32GB iPhone 4 then you are looking at paying Orange £269 for the phone to get the same monthly deal. With O2 you could get the iPhone 4 for as little as £25 a month on a 24 month contract or £30 for 18 months. For a free iPhone 4 from O2 you will again need to sign up for 2 years, but it will work out £15 cheaper than Orange at £60 a month. Both 3 and Vodafone have yet to release details of their price plans (although there are some ‘unofficial’ Vodafone tariffs being quoted around the internet).
