I’ve mentioned before about Virgin’s credit card offer – with 16 months interest free on balance transfers and 6 months interest free on purchases. There has also been lots of talk about their average interest rate, of 16.9%. Although it’s not the best on the market, according to the independent organisation, APACS, it’s still 0.7% below the average interest rate for credit card providers. We’ve been going through reviews on other sites though, to find out what other people have to say about the Virgin credit card. The overall rating is excellent, from the application to the customer support to the offering. Reviews mention the interest free period, and the ease of making payments. Another important element is the fact that the interface and statements seem to be quite easy to use and intuitive. The main gripe that people seem to have is that the interest rate could be lower, and also that people seem to get sent blank cheques to use.
