UK Police statistics suggest that property is stolen from cars every 13 seconds across the UK and according to AA Insurance, they expect insurance claims to rise by 10% during the festive period and into the new year. If at all possible, don’t leave any valuables or presents in your vehicle unattended so as not to attract any undue attention. If you have to, ensure they are locked securely in the boot out of sight.
