| Sky Broadband Signs Deal With Channel 4 Films | |
|---|---|
|
Digital channel and internet provider Sky Broadband has signed a deal with Channel 4 Films for sponsorship of the channel. They will follow in the footsteps of previous successful Channel 4 sponsorship campaigns by Stella Artois and Renault. We don’t know the exact sum that Sky Broadband has paid for the twelve month deal but it reported to be in the millions. It will mean that Sky Broadband will get advertising for its broadband service during prime time films on Channel 4, More4 and E4. Sky Broadband now has over two and a half million customers using their broadband internet service and around 20 per cent of all Sky’s 10 million customers have signed up for the Sky TV, internet and phone bundle. Sky Broadband’s campaign on Channel 4 will be based around the current ‘Broadband Happily Ever After’ advertising theme and will begin with a reworking of the childrens’ tale Little Red Riding Hood. Promoting the new sponsorship deal with Channel 4, Robert Tansey, brand marketing director at Sky said: “Sky Broadband provides a high quality, great value service, and we believe this sponsorship deal is the right way of helping customers get the message about what we have to offer.” We can help you out if you are currently looking for a new broadband provider.
